Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Our Medical Benefits Abroad (MBA) program offers an optional Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage for groups with 250 weeks or more of travel. When a loss occurs within 365 days from the date of the covered accident, the following payments apply:

• The principal sum* for loss of life, double dismemberment (i.e. hand and foot or both hands), or entire and irrecoverable loss of sight of both eyes.
• One-half of the principal sum* for single dismemberment or entire and irrecoverable loss of the sight of one eye.
• One-fourth of the principal sum* for loss of thumb or index finger from the same hand.
  

If more than one loss results from one accident, only the largest benefit will be paid.

* 'Principal sum' refers to the dollar amount specified in your respective program's coverage.
