Long-Term Disability
Your clients can further protect their expatriates
with optional long-term disability coverage, available in
conjunction with GHA 2 to 9 Medical, Life
and AD&D benefits.
Who is Eligible?
- U.S. and non-U.S. expatriate employees.
- Key local nationals (limited to 20% of group).
- No more than 50% of group can be age 50 years
or older.
- No more than 30% of the group can be in high
risk occupations.
All accounts carry the standard 12/6/24 pre-existing
exclusion: Any condition diagnosed or treated in the 12 months
prior to the program's effective date will not be covered unless
the insured goes without treatment for six consecutive months after
that date. In such a case, the remainder of the pre-existing condition
period, defined as 24 months, will be waived.
