Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
Your highly valued expatriate employees deserve the same high-quality coverage on international
assignment that they count on while working at home.
The Multinational Employer Trust program (MET) includes Life
and Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefits for all enrolled
employees. Select from:
- One times annual base salary up to a maximum
benefit of $200,000
- Two times annual base salary up to a maximum
benefit of $200,000
- One times annual base salary up to a maximum
benefit of $50,000
- Flat benefit of $25,000
If the insured is age 65 or older, but under
age 70, Life and AD&D amounts are reduced to 65% of the scheduled
amount. These amounts are reduced to 50% for covered individuals
age 70 and over.
Evidence of insurability is required (at the
plan sponsor’s expense) for all life insurance amounts in excess
of $50,000. Please contact CIGNA International for all appropriate
forms.
